Join us for a night of exceptional cookery demos, fizz and a charity raffle at Oakwood Cookery School to raise funds for the Highland Hospice.

The evening will be compèred by STV's Nicola McAlley and will include cookery demos by the following chefs…

SEAN WILSON
(CHEESE MAKER, CHEF & CULINARY AUTHOR WITH HIS OWN TV SERIES)

 

Sean Wilson joined the cast of Coronation Street in 1985 as Martin Platt. He became a chef after leaving Coronation Street, cooking in several Michelin-starred restaurants, and is also a cheesemaker and purveyor of cheesy comestibles with his own business, Saddleworth Cheese Company.

 

His book The Great Northern Cookbook was published in 2012 and the accompanying TV series was shown on Channel 5 and has appeared at every major UK food festival.

ANDY FYFE
(ORRIN RESTAURANT)

 

Orrin's Head Chef, Andy Fyfe, started his career in Glasgow under the watchful eye of the late Alan Gibb who was Executive Chef at Gleneagles Hotel until his passing in 2016. Here, he realised his passion and true potential for cooking, learning the classics, whilst also developing his own culinary style and identity as a chef. Andy later returned to his hometown of Elgin and it was early 2021 that the life-long dream of opening a restaurant came to fruition and Orrin was born. Along with his business partner, Elaine, they shared a vision of creating an outstanding food establishment in Moray. 

HUGH MCGIVERN

(PERSONAL CHEF TO HOLLYWOOD A LISTERS)

 

After completing a classical apprenticeship in Glasgow, Hugh left to join the Army where me was promoted quickly and ran several Officers Messes. Once finished with the Army he lived for a while in the USA then returned to work in several Michelin Restaurants in London. In 2010 he decided to embark on the Private Chef Circuit, specialising in nutrition counting Dwayne "The Rock" Johnston as a client as well as King Abdullah II of Jordan and several other Royal Families. He has written several cook books and papers for Kings College London.He now lives in Lossiemouth where he and his Partner, Alison, run the successful Lossiemouth House Guest House.

Oakwood Cookery School and offshore chef, Gary has worked throughout Scotland and internationally for over 35 years. Combining his work and travel has been the DNA in developing his creative fusion style.
